A few images from our festivals:
Our presiding deities of Sri Sri Radha Nilamadhava accompanies two Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, Sri Giriraj and Sri Sri Radha Giridhari. They are worshiped with love and devotion on a daily basis, with offerings of bhogas, aartis, and more. Several devotees are actively involved with the daily worship. This includes pujaris, cooks, a number of assistants, and garland makers. The garlands, bhoga (food) offerings, and deity outfits are exceptionally beautiful. The devotees put special emphasis on the actual worship going on behind the altar doors. The cleanliness of the altar and deity rooms is very important as is the spiritual life of the devotees who serve the Lord. The result of this incredibly coordinated devotional effort is a transcendentally surreal Darshan experienced by everyone who comes before the deities.
There are several major festivals at our temple and we are fortunate to host many visitors (sannyasi – Maharaja) at our temple for special programs and initiations. Our Sunday School children and teachers are very active in our festival celebrations. The pictures are captured and compiled by Thejas Prabhu and you are free to download the pictures.
