KIRTAN FEST 2026

September 4 (Friday) through September 7 (Monday)

Kirtan Fest Houston is an annual gathering of devotees, musicians, and seekers coming together to chant the holy names of Krishna. Hosted by ISKCON of Houston, this Labor Day Weekend marks our 40th anniversary – celebrated across three sacred nights of music, prasadam, and community.

Three Nights, Three Festivals: One sacred weekend, three unforgettable celebrations. Journey with us from the midnight birth of Krishna, through a candlelit evening of devotional song, into a radiant shower of flowers.

September 4: Lord Krishna’s Appearance Day (Janmashtami). Our opening night and 40th-anniversary celebration – a jubilant welcoming of Krishna into the world, building to the sacred midnight hour. A one-of-a-kind DRONE SHOW (Lord Krishna’s Appearance Day themed) is a part of the opening night. Please note: There will be no parking at the temple after 4 PM on Friday. All parking is at Houston’s First Baptist Church (7401 Katy Freeway) and there will be free parking and free shuttle buses from 5:30 pm to 1 am.

September 5: An evening of food & music for the soul: Bhajan Sandhya – A devotional evening under candlelight – soulful bhajans, intimate kirtan, and prasadam shared together as one community. Glorification of the founder acharya, Srila Prabhupada in the morning for his appearance day festival.

September 6: The Flower Festival: Pushpa Abhishek – Our grand finale – thousands of flower petals showered in joyous abandon as the whole community dances beneath a sky of color. Sunday Feast

September 7: Kirtan Fest Finale – ends at 1 PM.
