Set in the beautiful ISKCON of Houston temple, come and immerse yourself in a weekend of guided mantra meditation, live music and prayers.

The Japa Retreat is an immersive festival of the spirit where amazing vaishnavas, such as HH Romapada Swami and HG BadaHari Das, who have been avidly practicing this bhakti tradition for the past 4 decades, lead us in finding our own connection to God.

HH Romapada Swami is a senior disciple of Srila Prabhupada, a Vedic scholar, and an initiating spiritual master in the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Having been an avid practitioner of this ancient bhakthi tradition for more than four decades, the Swami draws on life experiences to guide all of those seeking a spiritual path by hosting these retreats and creating programs to help inspire and transform the lives of thousands.

Since his fateful 1972 meeting with his spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada, Kesava Bharati Dasa Goswami has dedicated his life to teaching the science of Bhakti-yoga, has traveled extensively, having lived in eight countries and Maharaj presently resides in a monastery in the village of Govardhana, one of the most profound places of pilgrimage in India.

He is an English editor and presently edits the books of the senior Sanskritists and the leading authors of ISKCON. Since 1998 Goswami has been involved in the publication of eight authoritative books on the science of Bhakti-yoga.

Kesava Bharati Das Goswami

Known for his inspiring and soulful chants, Bada Haridas has studied and performed Indian devotional music since 1975. Bada Haridas artistically blends his many influences to create unique music in celebration of the divine. A sincere practitioner of bhakti yoga, there is a depth to Bada Haridas’ music and quality of singing that is simply captivating. He is also a celebrated Kirtan singer and performs at festivals around the world.

Because we wanted something that would encourage us to delve deeper into our spiritual practice, we have planned and coordinated workshops, music, meals, and events to inspire, nourish, and entertain.
